The set of ownership\u2011change functionalities developed by our team makes it possible to replace the sales and billing customer in sales documents\u2014such as invoices, shipments, and credit memos\u2014with a new customer code, automatically updating their fiscal and address information.<\/span><\/p>

The invoice\u2019s payment method and payment terms will remain unchanged.<\/span><\/p>

Changing the customer on the invoice does not modify the customer on the related shipment documents. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe invoice must not contain any cash\u2011management\u2013processed documents (included in remittances, recirculated, or re\u2011posted through a journal), as the customer will not be updated in those cases. The VAT scheme will not be modified when changing the customer. Therefore, if the VAT regime of the new customer differs from that of the original one (for example, domestic vs. intra\u2011community), this functionality should not be used.
