On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, it was officially confirmed that the Government has approved a Royal Decree\u2011law that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/economia\/2025\/12\/02\/692ecbcd21efa0357f8b456f.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">postpones the entry into force of the VeriFactu system until 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-33344 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Empresas-2025-12-03T164311.568.webp\" alt=\"verifactu 2027\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Empresas-2025-12-03T164311.568.webp 1000w, https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Empresas-2025-12-03T164311.568-300x169.webp 300w, https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Empresas-2025-12-03T164311.568-768x432.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>New VeriFactu mandatory calendar<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Companies taxed under Corporate Income Tax: The obligation will begin on January 1st, 2027.<\/li>\n<li>Other companies and self\u2011employed workers: It will be mandatory from July 1st, 2027. (Previously scheduled for January and July 2026).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Reasons for the postponement of the VeriFactu system<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The delay is approved to give companies and self\u2011employed workers more time to adapt.<\/li>\n<li>It is part of a political agreement with Junts, included in the Royal Decree\u2011law approved by the Council of Ministers.<\/li>\n<li>It is acknowledged that the business sector was not prepared: only 8% of SMEs and self\u2011employed workers had implemented the system and 15% were in the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Regulatory reference for VeriFactu<\/h2>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This postponement is implemented through a Royal Decree\u2011law approved on 02\/12\/2025, which modifies the schedule established in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boe.es\/buscar\/act.php?id=BOE-A-2023-24840\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Royal Decree 1007\/2023<\/a> (VeriFactu regulation).<\/p>\n<h2>Impact of the VeriFactu delay for companies and self\u2011employed workers<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Empresas-2025-10-20T115838.453.webp\" alt=\"VeriFactu\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What does this mean for your company?
