This means that the learning curve for managing mail flow in this Cloud service can be quite extensive. Millions of emails pass through these systems every day, making spam and junk mail filtering increasingly effective. However, there may still be cases where legitimate email is marked as junk, or the opposite\u2014junk mail reaches our inboxes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As we know, Office 365 provides tools to manage all this mail flow. In this post, we will focus specifically on managing junk email and on how to block or allow certain senders according to our needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">To do this, we access the Exchange Administration section from the left-hand navigation pane in the Office 365 portal:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web1-2.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12749\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web1-2.png\" alt=\"P\u00edldora para Administradores de Office 365: bloquear o permitir remitentes externos\" width=\"299\" height=\"389\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Once loaded, select \u201cprotection\u201d and then \u201cspam filter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web2-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web2-2.png\" alt=\"P\u00edldora para Administradores de Office 365: bloquear o permitir remitentes externos\" width=\"840\" height=\"453\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Now select your domain from the list and click the Edit button to modify the policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12752\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web3.png\" alt=\"P\u00edldora para Administradores de Office 365: bloquear o permitir remitentes externos\" width=\"170\" height=\"42\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The options we are interested in are \u201cblocked senders lists\u201d and \u201callowed senders lists.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12753\" src=\"https:\/\/www.abd.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/web4.png\" alt=\"P\u00edldora para Administradores de Office 365: bloquear o permitir remitentes externos\" width=\"883\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Both are configured in the same way.
