New Business Central updates for 2023

This post lists the new features of Business Central that Microsoft plans to release from April 2023 to September 2023. Please note that delivery timelines may change and the projected functionality may not be available.

For 2023, it’s worth highlighting the push toward integration with MS Power Platform that the manufacturer has been promoting for some time, along with interesting functional improvements such as the ability to change the balance account associated with the vendor or customer posting group at the time of posting, which will enable the use of alternative customer or vendor accounts linked to the card—for example, for posting fixed asset vendor invoices or doubtful receivable customers—or improvements in inventory posting when using tracked products, etc.
