Starting with the 2025 Wave 1 release of Business Central, available from next April, a very useful feature is introduced: the ability to adjust the width of the FactBox panel. This improvement is designed to optimize the user experience, especially on devices with large screens or multi‑monitor setups.
What is a FactBox?
A FactBox is an area on the right side of Business Central pages that displays information related to the main content of the page. For example, on a sales order page, a FactBox can show the sales history of the selected customer or related notes.
What’s New in Width Adjustment
With this new functionality, users can now:
Resize the FactBox:
You can adjust the width of the FactBox panel by dragging the border between the FactBox and the main page content.
This allows you to customize the available space to view more details in the FactBox or in the main page.
Content Reflow:
The content inside the FactBox automatically adapts to the new size, ensuring it remains readable and functional.
Size Memory:
The adjusted size of the FactBox is saved in the browser’s memory for each user and page. This means that the next time you open that page, the FactBox will have the size you configured.
Quick Reset:
If you need to return to the default size, you can double‑click the divider to restore the original width.
