That's right, the end has come for support of Microsoft Office 2013. This coming April 11, 2023, Microsoft will stop maintaining the Office 2013 suite. Although we can continue using the applications as before, they will not receive any type of updates, exposing us to significant security risks, potentially harmful ones such as encryption and data loss, introduction of spyware and other malicious software.
We will also be exempt from vulnerability repairs, bug fixes, addition of new features, and improvements in usability and cloud integration. Additionally, this will be completed with the removal from the official website of all help and tutorials provided by Microsoft.

If your current version of Office is a one-time purchase (non-subscription) version of Office 2013, such as Office Home & Student or Office Home & Business, to upgrade, you will need to purchase the latest version.
To do so, you can buy a Microsoft 365 subscription such as Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family, or the latest one-time purchase version.
