Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and prepare to comply with the new regulation. The session will be recorded and microphones will remain muted throughout. At the end of the seminar, we will leave a few minutes for a Q&A session. A brief survey will be sent afterward to help us continue improving.
The new working‑hours regulation
Royal Decree‑Law 8/2019 establishes mandatory time tracking for employees in order to ensure work–life balance, prevent work overload, and guarantee compliance with regulations on overtime. This record must be kept for four years and be accessible to both employees and labor unions.

The best way to manage time tracking has evolved with technology. Software like ours makes it possible to simplify and optimize this process by automating administrative tasks, centralizing resources, and monitoring each employee’s progress.
In 2025, the working week in Spain will be reduced to 37.5 hours following an agreement between the Ministry of Labor and the unions. This change will affect the management of hours and shifts, as well as companies’ productivity. SMEs will need to gradually adapt to this change, relying on consulting services and technology to better manage schedules, minimize costs, and maintain productivity.
