Business Central 2025 and VeriFactu: Guaranteed compliance with the new invoicing regulation

With the introduction of the new regulation requiring all invoicing systems to adapt to the requirements of the VeriFactu Regulation, governed by Royal Decree 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024, any company that issues invoices must ensure that its invoicing software complies with this regulation.

If you are using older software versions, this regulatory change is an urgent call to update your system.

Business Central 2025 Wave 1: guaranteed VeriFactu compliance

Microsoft has issued a responsible declaration certifying that Dynamics 365 Business Central, starting from version 2025 Wave 1, complies with all the technical and legal requirements established by the VeriFactu regulation.

What does this certification mean?

  • The system has been designed specifically to operate in VeriFactu mode, in accordance with the regulation.
  • It guarantees secure integration with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) for the automatic submission of records.
  • Includes features such as:
    • Generation of electronic invoices with QR codes and digital fingerprints.
    • Data integrity and traceability control.
    • Support for the Immediate Supply of Information (SII).

In addition, the solution continues to comply with the Anti-Fraud Law (Law 11/2021) and the Crea y Crece Law, thanks to its architecture adapted to the most demanding tax environments.

Which version do you need to be compliant?

The compliance functionality is only available starting from Business Central 2025 Wave 1. If your company is still using earlier versions of NAV or Business Central, now is the time to consider an upgrade.

Using outdated versions exposes you to legal non-compliance, penalties, and security risks.
