Starting October 1, 2025, Microsoft will apply a price update to on‑premises licenses, including an increase in base prices and regional conversion factors. In addition, beginning October 6, the Enhancement Plan (BREP) will increase from 19% to 20% of the Protected List Price (PLP).

What Is Changing in the Dynamics On‑Prem BREP?
Increase in the Enhancement Plan Rate
- Starting October 6, 2025, the annual BREP rate will increase from 19% to 20% of the PLP.
- It applies to both renewals and new purchases.
- The rate is determined by the quote creation date (EP quote), not by the order date.
Practical example
If the quote is created on September 1, 2025, the customer keeps the 19% rate for the entire plan.
If it is created in October, the new 20% rate will apply.
Options to Keep the 19% BREP Rate
Early Renewals
- You can renew the BREP up to 120 days before the expiration date.
- Plans that expire until February 2, 2026 can be renewed before October 6 at the 19% rate.
- Billing is processed at the time of the order.
Multi‑year plans
- 1, 2 or 3 years of renewal available.
- Upfront payment: secures the 19% rate for the entire term.
- Annual payment: keeps the 19% rate each year.
